Annie provides student support services, and covers schools and host families in the East of England.
Anglo-French parents, a childhood in Indonesia and Tunisia, and education in an English boarding school has given Annie a very international outlook.
Annie has always been interested in language – the way we communicate ourideas, hopes and dreams. She began teaching English as a foreign language whist living in London, and after her family moved to Suffolk, taught French at Fairstead House and Culford Prep schools.
When she left teaching, she wanted to continue to work with schools and children, so educational guardianship for international students is an ideal match.
“I adore working with children. I find them incredibly refreshing and imaginative. It is a privilege to work with them and share a journey in their young lives.”

Alison recently joined CGA as a Student Services Assistant, afore graduating from the University of East Anglia with a 1st class honours degree in Media and Modern Languages.
She grew up in Hong Kong, then moved to the UK taking GCSE and A-levels at The Leys school, Cambridge.
Although fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, Alison’s passion is for Japanese language and culture, and she enjoyed a year of living and studying in Japan during her degree.
“Having recently experienced life as an international student in England, I understand the challenges, and hope I can use my experience to help our students feel at home.”

Jie gained a science degree from the university in her home city near Beijing, then taught chemistry at a high school in Shanghai. During this time she arranged a short assignment at Cambridge University, and a couple of years later moved to the UK along with her family. She took up a permanent position in student services at an international college in Cambridge, where her responsibilities included language and pastoral support. Jie will be using her experience and language skills to interface with parents and agents, and help students settle in their new country and schools. “I am happy and willing to help young people, and always let the students feel welcome and respected when talking to me.”
